Abstract
The project aims first and foremost at the presentation and first analysis of the highly interesting dataset from old and new excavations in and around the basilica of Saint-Servatius in Maastricht. The project has a twofold aim: a. the creation and publication of a catalogue of all archaeological elements (graves, architectural remains, human skeletal material, finds) uncovered in and around the basilica of Saint-Servatius and b. to analyse the chronological and topographical development of the basilica of Saint-Servatius and her surroundings, the demographic composition and the health status of the buried population and the related material culture
