Abstract
This is a proposal for three small-scale research projects devoted to a vital, but neglected area of diasporic, postcolonial literature: Moroccan literature in France, Moroccan literature in Spain and in the Netherlands. These three related research areas feed into a larger comparative study of diasporic identity in non-English speaking literatures, drawing in the first instance on the current, theoretical achievements in the field of postcolonial theory, but eventually enhancing that Anglophone theoretical field with the theoretical findings that may be defined on the basis of the Moroccan diaspora's in the three literatures central to this project.
